God's Speaking to Me
I’ve been praying for guidance and the confidence to move forward with my own business but I can’t help and notice the overwhelming sensation of doubt that fills my body time and time again. The questions surface, can I do it? Do I have enough money? What happens if I fail? I have realized that this is a part of reality. The natural feelings of confusion can truly over power your confidence. How do we control those emotions?
I met Kenston Griffin a motivational speaker and had the opportunity to hear his story on Envision Life Talk show with Dr. Davis and Cherise. I must say I was empowered and inspired. I felt the lord in an obvious fashion, was speaking directly to me. It was like no one else was there. God was reminding me to take each day one-by-one and work extremely hard. Do not reference the options of failure. Only think about the positive progression you make each day. There will be obstacles and there will be times of doubt, BUT GOD is there and with Faith we can do anything through him. Thank you lord for reminding me to stay true! I will learn to rejoice at the feelings of doubt for they only remind me that I am human, but I will try my best to smother those feelings with will power and determination for I am destined for greatness. I am destined for greatness so I can be a blessing to someone else as Kenston was a blessing to me by sharing his message. THANK YOU!
I Love this post. It reminds me of when Peter stepped out of the boat and dared to walk on uncharted waters. Yes waves of doubt will come, and the voice of self and others will seek to discourage you. Yet let your faith be in the Creator that assured you it was ok to step out and pursue your dreams in the first place. Keep your eyes on the Creator in the mist of trails and tribulation for it is in doing so that you gain the ability to stand in the mist of it all. When I think about my family and the community He whispers quietly LOUD...The Blessings of Abraham!!!
If I think "oh I can do it tommorow" He whispers quietly LOUD...
All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.(Proverbs 14:23)
At night He whispers quietly LOUD...
My son, keep your father's commands and do not forsake your mother's teaching.
Bind them upon your heart forever;fasten them around your neck.
When you walk, they will guide you;when you sleep, they will watch over you;
when you awake, they will speak to you. For these commands are a lamp,

I'm SO glad to hear you speaking like this! I know Kenston, and he has an amazing story. Glad you got the chance to meet him. God DOES speak to us, and it's pretty amazing that all you have to do is pay attention a little bit....I'm very happy for you; God's been blessing me tremendously as well! I'll have to tell you about it.
ReplyDeleteWhen it's something you love and you're passionate about you will make a way with God's help. When I started Sound-Savvy moving in more of a business direction, I had the same doubts and concerns, but when your journey is on God's path YOU WILL SEE how he puts the right things and people in your path at the right time to make everything go the way it should. Hold fast, pray and don't worry, just MOVE WITH IT!
